Michael has 18 years of experience in Private Banking and Wealth Management, having worked in multiple countries for some of the world’s largest banks. Having recently returned to South Africa from Switzerland, Michael provides critical banking knowledge and industry experience to the team.

Jacques has recently joined the RMS team after being a client for more than 20 years. With his cricket playing career over (although still doing some coaching work), JK has joined the RMS Advisory as a consultant and provides valuable knowledge and experience to the team when advising other professional athletes around the globe. He is a recent inductee into the ICC’s cricket Hall of Fame and, in the completely unbiased opinion of all South African cricket fans, the greatest all-rounder to have played the game.

Brendan is a CFA charter holder with years of experience in finance and investing at some of South Africa’s leading financial institutions. Brendan focuses on client asset allocation and advice around the structuring of bespoke investment portfolios.

With almost 20 years of experience in client administration within the Private Wealth sector, Esmarelda is responsible for the administration of client accounts and reporting. She is also a key link between clients and the investment and advisory team.

Tania has 20+ years of experience in financial services administration at several of the large South African banks, Tania now forms a key part of the administration team at RMS Advisory.

PA to Executive Chairman

Sonet has worked as an assistant at major accounting firms and obtained valuable experience in estate planning, before joining RMS Advisory as the executive assistant to Dave. Sonet also assists with compliance and ad hoc client-related matters.

Business Development

Matt, known by many as Supersport’s anchor presenter and commentator, linked up with Skybound Capital in 2010., Initially, he served as a regular speaker at client functions. His role has evolved into one of business development, marketing and networking on behalf of the Skybound Group, including its clients, counterparties, co-investors and investee companies. He is a crucial business development driver for RMS Advisory, particularly in the sporting world.

Consultant

Rob, a co-founder of the business, retired as a full time from RMS at the beginning of 2020. He remains an integral part of the RMS team, serving clients in his capacity as a consultant to the business.
